How can it be a NEW Challenge already over on our challenge blog here! Time is certainly flying by at the moment. Thank you to everyone that joined in with our last challenge, hope you all had fun, we had some super bright and colourful creations for Charlottas challenge. The NEW Challenge is being hosted by Pinky and is called.....
Flowers
Wooohoo I can do this new challenge, should I use flower ribbons or flower buttons, yikes decisions, decisions!

Flower buttons - these buttons are super to work with and are due back into stock today. You will find them here. I wanted to created a fun girly card, and as you know I have been re-organising the ribbon shelves and came across lots of ribbons that I had forgotten about. These little Crafty Fairy ribbons were one such collection, you can find them here.
The Fairy bow can be removed from the card as it is a hair bow with a hair clip attached. The hair bows are one of the projects on our NEW DVD here or you can just download the hair Bow clip here. They really are very easy to make and great fun - a card and a gift in one.
Do you have a flower card or project in mind? Then why not join in with our NEW Challenge here You could win one of these....................

....................that's correct a Flower button box is the prize. Pop on over to the blog and see what the fantastic design team girls have created - we have a new teamie to welcome, Lorraine has joined our ribbon girls, find out more here.
I have got myself into a right pickle, we start our "Best of British" event next week - two weeks of amazing creations from all the design team.....................ummmmmm............I have not yet fully completed one project......ooooooh I have lots started............my design room is covered with cards...................my sewing room at home has piles of boxes in process...............I even have a project on the go in the sitting room!!! I am afraid that I have a sick bunny on my hands today. Poor Ali has come down with something and is not in today. So it is down to me to do the Bingo Bag pick myself. Its happening live so to set the picture....
A sun kissed restaurant patio in the Italian lakes with the surrounding snow cap mountains. Man closely resembling George Clooney is handed the bag, he is delving in it and has picked...... No.35. Well thats not too far from a sandwich in the front office of the warehouse is it. I can but dream.
Number 35 = WendY
Buttons and surprises - what a great combination. Thanks for the chance to win. WendY x
Well done Wendy, can you e-mail your address to craftyribbons@gmail.com so that we can send the buttons off to you.
Wonderful comments this week. I hope that you were not all waterlogged at the weekend. The rain finally stopped in Dorset at about 6.00pm yesterday, just in time to think about back to work!!!

Regards
Tony

Challenge blog - Orange, Pink and Yellow
26/04/2012

Thank you to everyone that joined in with our last challenge, hope you all had fun. Two weeks are up so it is time for a NEW Challenge on our Ribbon Challenge blog here.
Charlotta is hosting this NEW Challenge, she has picked a summery collection of.......
Orange, Pink and Yellow
.........ummmmm that got my ribbon taste buds going. With colours like that it had to Gingham ribbon for me.

A very simple card that took me ALL AFTERNOON to make, had no idea what I was up too. It was only when Sydney came home from school and joined me in my craft room that ribbons and buttons got attached, card was selected and cut. Think I needed my little craft buddy to give me a push!!
I used 15mm gingham ribbon (here) to make the ribbon rossettes and then picked a few buttons from our Button Boxes here. I like! Anyone fancy joining in with our NEW Challenge? Easy to do just make a card your project around the theme of Orange, Pink and Yellow - you could win yourself some ribbons!! Read more here.
What can aperture cards be used for?

Bet you never thought of that!!!

Last few touches
24/04/2012
I have spent the morning putting the last few touches to a NEW range of ribbons................oooh I wish I could share my excitement with you.................BUT not just yet. You will have to wait a little while, BUT they will be well worth waiting for though, nobody and I do mean NOBODY has anything like my new babies!!!!
We do have lots of other exciting things going on, Mandy who runs the challenge blog for us has been a real busy bee and we have a massive event planned soooooon............ sorry it is going to be one of those days that I tempt you.
We had a wonderful comment (all comments are wonderful I will add!) left last night by Anne-Marie the winner of our Friday FREEBIE last week for a copy of our NEW DVD........

Thank you Anne-Marie, sorry for our little error! Tony and I had sneaked away for a few days, Rachie was so eager to keep the warehouse running smoothly she sent Anne-Marie's DVD to her the next day but forgot to add the ribbon!!!
If you would like another chance to win our NEW DVD then we have a prize running on Facebook this week, the draw will take place on Friday. Just like the DVD post here to join in.
We are nearly at the end of our baby washing line challenge, PHEW it has been a long one, the last parcel arrived back last week. Todays crafty creations are from Angela.

Angela this is a delightful, I love the way you have woven the ribbons over and under the main ribbons. A very clever technique, eveytime I look at this ribbon in the warehouse it makes me smile.

SUPER Cute Angela, I am so pleased that the washing line design has been used as WASHING! I adore the way you have highlighted the text ribbon with extra buttons Angela. I think these 3mm grosgrains make a change from the satin ribbon, I have been thinking of having more colours made for us - what do you think? Did or do you enjoy working with the 3mm grosgrain? Should we add more colours?

Ooooh any little girl would love to have this hanging in their bedroom Angela, it is delightful. It could also be used to attach hair bow grips and things too, would keep them nice and tidy.

Did you make the little girls Angela? Looks like ribbon and cord on a flat wooden button, great fun.
Thank you Angela for joining in with the Challenge, i am so sorry it has taken so long to share your creations. If I am correct I have only 3 other challenger collections to share, Leigh, Dorothy and Amanda. Please do not shout at me if I have forgotten anyone, just send me an email craftyribbons@gmail.com and i will search my Flash card.
No rain today, first time since January I had to drive to work yesterday - it was pouring down. I normally start to negotiate a lift home from one of the girls late afternoon, I even make tea if I am desperate for a lift. But Bev said she would run me home, it was only when we both opened the office door to go home................"Durrrrrr I have my car Bev!"

What a fantastic weekend we had, it was rather hard to get back to work this morning. Sunday morning we decided to take our cameras to the local Bluebell Woods, for a walk and some photo fun. A long time since I have walked in Bluebells, coming from Oxfordshire where Beech trees and Bluebells are plentiful we were rather taken aback by the number of other people that had the same idea. It was a bit like "quick take a picture, nobody is coming!". But we did have a wicked fun time and have some super photo memories.
So back to work.............dots...................lots of dotty dots..........................who is going to win the collection of NEW Swiss Dots launched on Friday. Only Mollie came to see me this afternoon, so she had the pleasure of picking the number, I might add it was in between eating biscuits.........you can see all the crumbs on her school jumper.

Number 36 = kbrandy4

This little bib card is adorable Kara, I opened it slightly so you could all see how it opens.

This is a fun jolly card Kara, I love the extrs score lines around the edge, really frames the card. Thank you for joining in with the challenge Kara, I still have more designs to share with you. So please do not worry if I have not show -cased yours yet.

Before I tell you who has been pulled from our "Bingo" bag, I have a wonderful selection of creations to share with you from Leslie and Linda. Both girls chose the blue ribbons.

A very elegent card Leslie, I love the way you are pulled into the centre of the card.

Super cute with the little trousers in the centre Leslie, very clever.

Oooooh fantastic Linda, this bunting is really special. Not sure my knitted triangles would all end up the same size. My scarfs always had one end wider then the other!! Brilliant idea Linda.

You really are testing my camera skills here Linda, another wicked idea. What did you use to create the top circle?
Thank you Linda and Leslie for your delightful goodies, some super inspiration for us all. And a big thank you to everyone that left a comment for us this weekend, but as always there can only be one winner.........
Sydney picked todays winner, although I pounced on her just as she put a big chewy sweet into her month! Poor thing, having an auntie like me!!

Number 26 =Anne-Marie Lewis
