Hello wednesday - CHOCOLATE & Bake

Don't you just LOVE wednesday's? Say hello to wednesday "hello wednesday" It's all downhill from now on to the weekend - yippee!!!
Ever since I designed our chocolate bar ribbon, I have had this card idea in mind.
So, so simple to make and took no time at all. Perfect to say "Hi" to a friend. You can find the chocolate ribbons here.
What have we baked up for you today.......................
Have we left the best to last? Not sure, everyone in the warehouse has their own favourites - this collection is Tony's.
Totally scrummy delish slices of cakes and gateaus, all laid out on ribbon. Cut them up into single cakes for cards, or just wrap around a simple white iced cake to get that extra WOW factor! Not only do we have 39mm to go around a cake but we have the same delish cakes on a 13mm grosgrain, which is perfect for cake boards.
Team these ribbons up with KEEP CALM AND CUT A SLICE or KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON BAKING and you will have a perfect baked creation! You can find today's baking right here

Morning everyone, two days into spring and most of the country is covered in snow. But thankfully not Dorset! Although the wind yesterday hampered my photography.
I had planned to share with you the NEW colours we have in the Fresh Stripe and the Gingham ranges. I wanted to photograph them in the grass BUT after I had chased after them for the tenth time I gave up and returned to the office.

Morning everyone, what a wonderful feeling being back in Dorset for more than just a few hours! We had a very enjoyable show in London, Tony being a Londoner enjoys the hussle and bussle much more then I do. We were swamped on Saturday and really struggled to keep the queue under control at times. Thank you to everyone that came to see us, and for all your wonderful comments about our ribbons and stand.
Although I have not been crafting for several weeks, I have been designing, cooking up a delight of wonderful new ribbons. All Tip Top Secret at the mo, but we are excited by them. Promise not to keep you in the dark for very long, I should hear in a day or two when they will go on the printing machines.
I sent Natalie some of New Knit and Sew ribbons to have a play with. Look what was waiting for me on my return form London.
This is a new style from Natalie, no stamped and coloured images, just simple stamped black text. Natalie I Love them! Very clean, and stylish, best bit - they show the ribbons off a treat!

Phew what a long day!
We have spent the whole day re-stocking the exhibtion stand after it's epic trip to Glasgow.
Rachie and I were in early, getting the ribbon unit covers off so when the girls arrived they could
start re-stocking. AND it has taken all day, boy do you Scottish ladies like our ribbons.
A BIG thank you from the Dorset Ribbon girls.
The stand is back on the van and ready for it's short(ish) journy to London Olympia tomorrow.
We hope you London girls will love our ribbons just as much as the Scottish girls.

I must admit that we had a little problem in Paris the other week about two of our NEW ribbon sayings. "My stash is bigger than yours" - what is a stash? Collection of goodies - yes they understood. The other ribbon was Keep Calm and Carry yarn - not an easy one to explain as it is a play on English words........................maybe I should have thought of this card earlier.
Perfect card to send to my friend. She had me searching my button suppliers after Christmas for small old fashioned style buttons that looked like "Hot Cross Buns". I found them and she was over the moon with them.
Back to my hearts, I am not going to show you how to make them, but if you do crochet and can follow a very simple pattern then here goes.
Form a magic ring, chain 3, 3 treble crochet, 3 double crochet, chain 1, 1 treble crochet, chain 1, 3 double crochet, 3 treble crochet, chain 3, slip stich into chain and cast off. Pull magic circle tight and you have your heart.
I had a huge pile of these hearts all in different colours, until a little someone spotted them in my studio - I now only have 4 left!! The Keep Calm and Carry Yarn ribbon can be found here. We have sold hundreds of metres of this ribbon in only a few weeks - what have you used yours for?
It is a wonderful feeling, when something you have created is much loved. Rachie sent me this picture last night.
