Firstly Mollie picked the colours for her Poncho - ummmm rather on the acid side!

She has been incredIblY happy wearing it all day, and was over the moon to have her photograph taken in it.

Sam is 5 today

Happy Birthday Sam.

It is the first time I have been here for his birthday, I even missed his birth! I am normally in Paris for the L'Aiguille en Fête show. So I had great pleasure seeing his face when Bev gave him the Angry Bird birthday cake she had made for him. That cake not only looked wicked it tasted really scrummy.

While we had everyone sat around the canteen table I got the two cheecky monkies to pick the Friday FREEBIE winners.

As you can see they were full of mischief and were pulling faces, but they did pick the numbers.

We have made a few changes on our Challenge Blog.

The terrible duo were fighting over who would pick the winner this week. So I said that Mollie could hold the "Bingo" bag while Sam pulled out the number.
As you can see smiles all round.
(Yes Sam did come home from school with a swollen eye, he fell over!)

Hello wednesday - Cowl

Don't you just LOVE wednesday's? Say hello to wednesday "hello wednesday" It's all downhill from now on to the weekend - yippee!!!

Brrrrrrrrr it's cold. The only good thing about this cold weather is I stayed in doors ALL weekend and had wicked fun - making!!! I did a little bit of this and a little bit of that and I even finished this...............

The true reason it is snowing is because I followed a crochet pattern ha ha................I did, the first time ever! Although my gran taught me to crochet when I was a little girl, I could crochet all the stitches............I just do not know what they were called. So with guidance from Janet I had a go at the cowl.

I needed 3 buttons to finish it on Sunday afternoon, I think I must have mentioned this more than once to Tony. He climbed into his snow boots and walked to the office, just for 3 buttons!!! Thanks Tony. You can find our polka dot buttons here . I think these buttons make it, but then I would.

Bev kindly modelled it for me, as long as I cut her head off in the photo!

It did take me a while to get the cowl back, I gather it is rather warm.

We have added new Silk ribbons to the website yesterday.

Hello wednesday - Mug Hug

Don't you just LOVE wednesday's? Say hello to wednesday "hello wednesday" It's all downhill from now on to the weekend - yippee!!!

I listened to your mojo comments last week, and I have had a try at creating different things to my normal craft. I have tried knitting and crocheting this week. We had a giggle last night, Syd and Sam wanted to learn how to knit. Syd sat on my lap and held the knitting needles while sam wrapped the wool around the needle! At the end of every row, they would both swap round. I though knitting was supposed to be stress free!!!

After they had gone home, I decided no more knitting, so I made this.

With the temperature dropping and our warehouse being somewhat large to heat "all over" I thought my coffee cup could do with a mug hug.

I used the NEW Garden collection of buttons that arrived in the warehouse on Monday, you can find them here. Two colours ways Pastel and Brights. I used the light blue from the Pastel collection and the turquoise from the brights. There are some wicked shaped buttons in these new button boxes. I love the little worms..................
