Friday FREEBIE–a choice of 3
21/02/2014

WOW! what a busy week……
On Monday I was almost 1000km away from home and since arriving back,
I have just launched 3 BRAND spanking New Collections to the website.
Have you seen them appearing in the last two days……………
No – well I will tell you all about them in a moment.
First off the winner of last weeks Friday FREEBIE of the Liberty Kits is…..
……..number 37

Congratulations number 37 - KT Fit Kitty, please email Bev bev@craftyribbons.com with your address details
and she will post you the Liberty Kits.
You have until Thursday 27th Feb to claim your ribbons number 37.
Do you want to see what I have been up to over the last few months…………
This collection was inspired by two of our Design team – Elaine and Cebelica,
both asking for butterflies and something vintage
Add a touch of vintage to your creations with our NEW Vintage Butterflies.
Grosgrain ribbon printed to create a vintage feel, from butterflies to birds, bikes to keys.
In a choice of either Cremé or Latte colours.
For that little extra "je ne sais quoi" add a ribbon message in French or English.
You can find this collection here
We sold out of some of the Liberty scissor Keepers while in France (we thought we would!).
But for once we were prepared and had 3 new colour ways in reserve.
These 3 new colours PLUS (my girls are wonderful) the first collection of 4 are
NOW BACK IN STOCK
and can be found here
and finally I have added this NEW Collection to the website this morning……
a collection for the boys! You can find them here
I can hear you cheering from Dorset.
Both the Vintage Butterflies and the Tractors Digger ribbons were well received in France,
I came very close to running out of a few designs.
Which would be your prize of choice for this weeks Friday FREEBIE…..
1. Vintage Butterflies
2. All 3 new colours of Liberty Scissor Keeper Kits
3. Tractor Digger Collection.
Leave us a comment with your thoughts and add your name to the list for a chance to win.

Hello wednesday–scarp happy
19/02/2014

Hello everyone, I am back!
Ooh it is so good to be home, it has been long time since Tony and I did two exhibitions
back to back in France. Metz is along way from Dorset, right up on the German border.
We arrived back yesterday morning, off loaded the stand and then disappeared for the rest of the day.
I had a scrap request while in Paris.
Florence the girl that helps us, had brought in several photos and wondered if I could do a scrap
page for her. I have made several for her in the past, she tells me she likes my clean”English” style!

Sorry the photo is a bit pants, taken on the floor of the exhibition stand.
Remember I only had ribbons and buttons to play with. Florence had brought in a
couple of sheets of paper, she then scrounged some double sided tape and some glue from
fellow exhibitors.

First to be laid on the paper was the jingle bells ribbon, I thought it went well with the theme
of the photos.

Few more bits of ribbon this time swiss dots.
I added the heart buttons, but would really have liked to have put some white thread
through the holes, but I had none to use.

A few large buttons with 6mm grosgrain threaded through.

Finally a few ribbon loops.
Florence was a very happy bunny when I presented this too her on Sunday morning.
I am off now to have a play with my camera, I have a few new…………….ribbons to share with you.
We sent out the ribbons to our design team girls the day we left for Paris,
they have had two weeks to play and they are desperate to show you what they have made.
Till tomorrow….

………….it really is great to be home
Hello wednesday–roses and iris
12/02/2014

Another piece of Silk ribbon embroidery today, it is the pair to the one I showed you
for our first Challenge day of the New Year, last Thursday.
This one is Roses and Iris, I must admit that I have fallen in love again with
ribbon embroidery. Maybe it is something to do with working with silk.

Sorry about the extra watermarks, but they are new kits.
We did extremley well with them last week in Paris and hope the ladies of Metz
will like them tomorrow. If you would like to reserve yourself a pair to embroidery, then please
call Bev 01258 455889 and she will contact me.
I would normally say she would pop them in the post for you…….BUT……..I stole all the stock!
Off to set the stand up, hope it will not take too long, Tony said he would take me to lunch.

Are you seeing the New look blog?
30/01/2014
Afternoon everyone.
We have several concerned followers contacting us to say there is something wrong with our blog,
it looks “odd”.
We updated the software last week and gave it a new fresh look.
It should look like this……

If your screen looks different to this, then here are a couple of things you can do.
1. try refreshing the screen by pressing the circle arrow

If that does not work then you will have to clear your browsing history, so that your browser will pick up the new blog details.
We believe that only Internet Explorer Browsers are not showing the new blog correctly.
In Internet explorer you will use the little cog at the top right hand corner of the screen

Press the cog and a drop down box will appear.
Second up from the bottom of the list is Internet options.
Press Internet options and this box will appear.

Press delete and another box will appear

Tick or untick the boxes as shown above in yellow and press delete.
Then press ok on the first box.
Close your the Internet explorer browser down and when you re-open it our blog should
look fresh and new.
Hope this helps.
