Don't you just LOVE wednesday's? Say hello to wednesday "hello wednesday" It's all downhill from now on to the weekend - yippee!!!
It's back, hello wednesday! Just found our blog over the christmas break? Every wednesday we have a little project with ribbon, sometimes nothing but ribbons, others like todays the ribbon is an add on to the craft. Click back every wednesday (and other days in between if you can) and see what we have for you.
Hearts - it is that time of year - but this one is a little bit special and took hours of work!
Just paper, ribbon and a little bit of lavender. Ooooh and hours of spare time! Pergamano.
The heart is made up with the same design on both sides, which I then sewed together using 7mm silk ribbon (here). I put a little lavender in the centre (here), and finally added a bow of silk at the top. The finishing touches were easy.
I am a little late with adding the NEW Valentine ribbons to the site, we only have a few, with luck they should be on the site by tomorrow.

First Winner of the New Year

My delivery arrived today, the warehouse became full of yummy scrummy sweet treat ribbons. Boxes and boxes of ribbons were ooozing out of of the loading bay, it has taken me most of the day to check them all in. If you were lucky to make the NEW Sweet Treat Challenge, then your ribbons will be posted tomorrow. I am sorry that there were so many disappointed bloggers that missed out, as it was my counting expanded to beyond 15!! But we have put our thinking caps on to see if we could do something else as well - not sure what!
One lucky commentor is about to receive a £20 gift voucher - it could be you...... we had a short break in the rain this afternoon, so I scooped up Syd and Mollie and took them outside to pick the winner for me. They are right pair, and kept running off with the "Bingo" bag, I finallly caught them up and snapped this photo. Rachie will kill me, Mollie is covered in chocolate.

On Friday I mentioned that I was trying to upload a NEW range of ribbons but the internet was slow. As Mollie would say "I did it!" - this is the first part of our NEW Cotton Ribbon Collection.
We have been asked for cotton ribbons time and time again, this collection of prints are the first to arrive, more plain colours will be with you soon. You can find the prints by clicking HERE. A small collection with 7 different designs printed onto 100% cotton ribbon - we have footprints, sea shells, coffee beans, dots, flowers, diamonds and mini paw prints. Some are printed in brown others in black - quite refreshing.
I must go, my NEW ribbons are calling me......not only the Sweet Treats ribbons but many.......many.......more NEW designs........oooh I love NEW ribbons.

It has been a busy short week, what with the pack sale, Bev's birthday and we had a visit from one of our suppliers yesterday.....we have seen one of the new ranges for Christmas.................ooooh they are wicked!
They have once again expanded the colour range from just Red, Green, Gold and Silver and have added some fun new designs.
I tried to add a new range of ribbons today, but our internet is playing up, must be all this rain! So will try again later. Now onto the Friday Freebie of the New year, as it is the first friday of the New Year it must be voucher Friday.

It was great to see everyone back in the office today- and hearing all the news - but I just have no idea where the time has gone today.

I would like to be able to blame someone........ but I am sad to say that it was my error.

Oh no I had no one to pick our Friday FREEBIE winner this morning, I asked Tony if he would do the honours for me........but he was a little unwilling!!! So it was a quick whizz over to Bev's to see if she had a suitable monster I could borrow. This was only meant to be a quick visit, but I had not seen them since before Christmas, I had to see all their prezzies, then we had to play a game.....what I am really saying is sorry for the delay!
