Crafty Mollie
13/03/2009
We had extra help at Hobbycrafts today, Rachie, Marten and little Mollie came to help! It was Mollie's first craft show (we are starting her off young!) and she loved it.
I showed her around the stand so she could see all my new ribbons!
It was all too much for Mollie, and she was fast a sleep before the end. Rachie had a great time at the show and caught up with lots of her friends.
Thanks for coming guys.

Crafty Ribbons is at the NEC in Birmingham this weekend, at the Hobbycrafts show. Opens tomorrow at 9:30am. You can not miss our stand, it's right at the front of the show, stand C38. Don't forget to pop bye and say "Hi"
Easter Bucket
10/03/2009
Sydney my niece came to see me today. She had been told that I was not feeling very well and wanted to give me a cuddle. We ended up spending the afternoon crafting!
We played with ribbons, and some felt flowers but Syd found the glue rather sticky!! We decorated her Easter Bucket to collect her easter eggs in.
I managed to get the bucket back in time to get a quick photo, before it was filled with everything going!!
Syd and I had a wonderful afternoon playing and crafting and it made me feel so much better.
Thanks Syd
News from Glasgow
07/03/2009
Lots of people have popped by the stand today here in Glasgow and said "Hi!". We had a delivery of "Cupcake Galore" cards for our Ribbon Challenge #3. All the cards have been greatly admired, one lady even confessed that she had fallen for one card so much, that she had considered stealing it!!! I told her that she would be able to see it on the blog next week, and she was happy to leave it on display.
I had my normal stroll round the show, but there were no displays to show you. So how about Shaun the Sheep - Great British Picknit. This is a life size knitted picnic, that is on display in the Creative Stitches Show next door.
Shaun and Gromit sitting down to a delightful picnic.
Yes, this is all knitted.
Anyone for Strawberries and Cream?
Or tea and cakes. Hope you enjoyed the picnic, it was all calorie free!!!

Hobbycrafts Show in Glasgow at the SECC
Tony and Ali left earlier today for their long trip to Glasgow. They only left an hour later than planned!! The show is open from Thursday to Sunday. You can not miss our stand, it's B1 right in front of the entrance. It will be the first time I have missed the show in 4 years and was rather sad waving Ali and Tony goodbye, although I will not miss the drive!
We have received lots of cards for our Ribbon Challenge # 3 Cupcakes Galore, and they are whizzing their way to Glasgow, If you visit the show, say "Hi" to Ali and Tony and have a look at the wicked new collection of cards from, Marjorie, Wilma, Dorothy, Natalie, Jan, Leigh, Carol and Beryl. Thanks for getting the cards to us so quickly they are awsome, good enough to eat!!!
Sam (Cookie Monster) took his first steps today, he will be running round the warehouse by Monday!!!!

Let's Make Cards!
02/03/2009
Our ribbons have been used in this months issue (22) of Lets Make Cards!
Corrine Bradd, LMC Desiger has been super-busy going to great lengths, making fresh spring cards with our NEW RIBBONS. Some of these ribbons are so NEW that they have not been put on the website yet, as they come from several different ranges, still to be launched.
So you do not miss out making these great projects and cards, we have put all the ribbons that Corrine used HERE!!
All the extra goodies you need - papers, cards, embellishments - will be included with the magazine.
Come on - Let‘s Make Cards! - with RIBBON!!!!!
Last of the Love Chocolate
26/02/2009
The last of the Love Chocolate cards arrived today from Tina, they are sensational. All the cards we received for this Ribbon Challenge # 2 have been stunning. Thank you all so much
Tina was not happy with the flower card (Bev loved it- I will have to keep my eye on Bev!), Tina's favourite card was the chocolate bar. I think the Pink Chocoholics Anonymous card would be perfect for my little neice Sydney.
We send the ribbon for the challenges out in white boxes, so the ribbons do not get squashed in the post ( similar to our Ribbonboxes). Look what Beryl has done with hers from the Love Chocolate challenge!
Beryl thought she should keep chocolates in it for when she was crafting - great idea!!!
More Love Chocolate Cards
24/02/2009
I was rather rushed the day I posted the Love Chocolate Cards and I ran out of time - sorry. But here are a few more for you to enjoy.
The cards above are made by my great friend Leigh. I always send her the bits that are left over!! I do not think that she knows what a metre of ribbon looks like. Anyway it goes to show what you can make from a "little bit" of ribbon!!! She will be pleased when she receives her post tomorrow - I sent her a full (yes, metre lengths) box of ribbons for the "Cupcake Galore" challenge # 3 - just like everyone else
Trisha sent in 3 fantastic cards for the challenge but I only had time to put 2 on the site. This is her third one and it's wicked. I got asked at the Make it show, the name of this little girl. Can anyone help me out?
Must go, we are going to Rachie's for pancakes!!! (Bet I will end up cooking them!)
Ribbon Challenge # 3 is FULL
24/02/2009
Our Ribbon Challenge # 3 is full.
Wow you all love your cupcakes!! We must admit that this ribbon is fab. Ali found the cupcake ribbon on a hair slide in a french market last summer. She wanted the ribbon!! It took her 6 months to trace the manufacturer - we think it was worth it, hope you do.
Sorry if you missed out on this challenge but we have another one coming up soon, so check back regularly.
Ribbon Challenge # 3
22/02/2009
SORRY - THIS CHALLENGE IS NOW FULL!
Cupcakes are a very "in thing" at the moment, so we are sure you will enjoy this new challenge - Cupcakes Galore
Would you like to take part in our Ribbon Challenge # 3?
Be the first to see our NEW range of cupcake ribbons. We have 10 free bundles of ribbons to give away (5 Vanilla and 5 Chocolate), each bundle will contain lengths of all the new ribbons (NOT on the website - yet!). All we ask in return for these ribbons are two cards made from this delicious ribbon! The ribbons can be used to enhance all forms of card making, rubber stamping to decoupage as long as it is around the "Cupcake Galore" theme!!!!
Not into cardmaking, but would love to use the ribbons on another form of craft - no problem just give us an idea in your email.
If you are up to the challenge, then send us an email to info@craftyribbons.com marked RIBBON CHALLENGE #3!
The first 10 to reply will be sent an email requesting address details so we can send your free ribbons!!
Your cards will be posted onto our website and will also be on display at the exhibitions we attend in the UK and France 2009
