Advance Warning: We are closing our warehouse for STOCK TAKING from 12pm on Wednesday 15th and will re-open on Monday 20th.

Remember I told you a few weeks back about our huge ribbon roll consignment - those elusive ribbon fairies still have not come visiting, so we are having to do all the work ourselves..... all together AAHHH!

Full size ribbon rolls, either 10 or 20mtrs on each roll. They are discontinued ribbons from the worlds leading ribbon manufacturer - Offray Ribbons.
We have so many different types and textures of these fantastic ribbon rolls that we have decided to add a NEW Shopping Trolley Collection every week. There are wire edge rolls, sheer rolls, printed satin rolls, fresco rolls - double sided and single sided rolls, far too many to add all in one go!!
As they are discontinued ribbons when they are gone, they will be gone for EVER.....so please buy enough to complete your projects.
I have told you eveything about these fantastic ribbons except the price - well I did say they were "Bargain Rolls" so they come with a bargain price of 10p per mtr. Yes I did type that correctly 10p per mtr - 10mtr rolls are £1.00 and 20mtr rolls are £2.00
Don't forget these rolls are full size 10mtrs and 20mtrs.
We had a very busy weekend, it's Sydney's birthday on Wednesday and she had a party at the local Manic Monsters. If you have never been to one, it is awesome!! Thought I would share another action shot with you.....

Paula from the Creative Card Crew took part in her first challenge with us "Summer Fizz" but she feel ill and was unable to complete her projects. So it was a great surprise when these cards arrived yesterday - so there is still some summer fizz about!!
What delightful colours, we love the way Paula has put little gems on every butterfly - a steady hand must have been needed!
Paula also sent in this card for me, thank you Paula, glad to hear you are feeling much better.

I moved to Dorset to be closer to my sisters, but they were either galivanting around the country at some exhibition or working at the warehouse. I started popping in for coffee, just so I could see them. One day Tony gave me a clip board - what's this I say. His reply..... "Well you spend so much time here, you might as well work for us pulling orders". I'd got a job YIPPEE!!!
How difficult could it be pulling orders, ribbon was JUST ribbon. OH BOY!! How wrong was I. I had spent 20 years working in a timber yard, I can tell you what type of wood to use for your decking or fencing but ribbon was so complicated. I ended up walking up and down the aisles trying to locate the right ribbon - I walked miles!!!!
I now have my ribbon favs, although they do keep changing as Ali gets NEW ribbons in. So I had an idea, why not share my ribbon favs with you.
I found a dinky little bag that I can fill with all my favorite ribbons - of the moment.
HERE is my first ribbon bag....... (Who could not like this selection - polka dots, daisy chain, flowers, butterflies and lots more......

While we have all been having fun in the sun over the weekend, our two webmasters Colin and Brian have been working behind the screen of the website. Tinkering with this and that, you probably will not be able to see any difference!!
We welcome comments and suggestions about our website and how we can improve it for you. Although we have our own secure server, you also wanted the option to use PayPal.
So over the weekend Brian and Colin installed it for you - thanks Guys.
The only difference with using Paypal is that we can not dispatch your order until we have cleared funds, which we gather can take a few days.
We accept the following cards on our server and the goods normally are despatched the same day.

SORRY THIS CHALLENGE IS FULL!
I have been on a personal search for a "girlie" camera bag. Can I find one..... NO. I have searched everywhere and driven Tony crazy about it. All camera bags seem to take on the Henry Ford principle of "Any colour, as long as it is BLACK". Camera and me go everywhere together, but I just hated the black, macho, triangle bag thing with odd shape pockets on the outside. I searched the internet and thought I found just the thing in soft shades of pink, I was so excited. It was delivered Friday - as well as special compartments for my camera and several lenses, I could have packed a 5 man tent, all the camping equipment and I am sure I could have squeezed in the food as well. It was huge!!!
Make your own Tony suggests, I can't, I need special padding for my camera. Take your black one apart and sew it into another bag........ OH he got me thinking. I now have a super kipling girlie camera bag, that fits on my back or over the shoulder, my camera is safe and secure. I have extra space for my bits, keys, money and it is a delightful shade of raspberry. Thanks Tony, to celebrate I bought him afternoon tea at the local fete where they were dancing around a May Pole with ribbons!!
Less waffle and on to the Ribbon Challenge # 7 "Daisy Chain"
I know I say this everytime BUT I love these ribbons! I made a card and decorated a note book as a thank you for a friend a couple of weeks back - she also loved it!
"Daisy Chain" Ribbons come in several different colours, they have delicate printed sheer centres and scalloped edges. We will also send some skinny ribbons that I used to make the two Daisies. I couldn't believe it when Tina sent in her goodies for the last challenge, she had also made a ribbon flower, but hers was a brooch.
We have 10 free bundles of ribbons to give away, each bundle will contain lengths of the new ribbons (NOT on the website - yet!). All we ask in return for these ribbons are two cards or projects that include Daisies! The ribbons can be used to enhance all forms of card making, projects or ATC's.

Last Fizz

Wow what a busy week we have had. We had a huge ribbon roll consignment a while back, but had no time or space to put it away. We pushed it to the back of the warehouse hoping the little craft fairies would deal with it for us. Sadly no fairies arrived, so this week battling with the heat ( our warehouse is like a freezer in the winter and a hotbox in the summer), we started sorting out the delivery. Several of the "new" girls had never seen so many patterned ribbons, and all on small rolls. The ribbon rolls now have a new home and are neatly stacked in an aisle all of their own. All we have to do is wait for the fairies to put the consignment on our website!!
We have also started production of our value bags . As the name suggests these are bags of colour themed ribbons that are great value - 18mtrs of ribbon for £3.00 or 3 different value bags for £5.00. We only manufacture these bags in the summer, and we had run out of several colours. Vicky and Sue have been selecting, measuring, cutting and packing this week, we are pleased to say the BLACK VALUE BAG is back in stock! What colour will they choose next week?!
We have received Tina's Summer Fizz goodies, she had been unwell hence the delay - but they have certainly been worth the wait.

Next week is going to be just as busy - we have our first "Christmas Ribbon" delivery due, Bev has a secret idea she has been working on and........ I could go on and on, BUT I must go home!
