Scrapbooking with Crafty Ribbons
Sydney did not want to get her trousers wet!! Her favorite word is Wow - everything is Wow!
The two scrapbook papers I used really brought out the colour of sydney's coat and wellies. Hand tear the top paper diagonally and stick to the bottom paper. Cut the photos into sections, staple small lengths of ribbon to the top edges. Make these random and overlapping.
I printed the Wow! onto vellium in pink ink, then I chalked the edges with blue chalk. Small buttons are used to hold the vellium in place. The buttons are tied with 3mm satin ribbon and knotted. We have some new style ribbon that shimmers like water, this was perfect to go across the page under the photos. Postion and stick the photos to the page. Place several small pieces of ric rac below the first photo (could be waves!). Stick a flower button on opposite ends of the ric rac.
Towards the top of the page I used 3 flowered buttons threaded with 15mm sheer ribbon and knotted.
Your scrapbook layout is ready to be enjoyed!
